Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Construction
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be aware of working in environments that may be dangerous, prepared for working in dusty conditions, and accustomed to working in noisy environments
- The candidates should be willing to work outdoors as part of their job requirements
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work and attention to detail, demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction and service, and be dependable and reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, and exhibit excellent written communication skills
- The candidates should be flexible in adapting to changing situations and requirements, show initiative in taking on tasks and solving problems, and exercise good judgment in decision-making processes
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and priorities, be reliable in completing tasks accurately and on time, and be able to collaborate effectively with others as part of a team
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials accurately for project planning and budgeting purposes, prepare production and other reports to track progress and performance, and recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to build a skilled and capable team
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations, coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers to maintain workflow consistency, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed to create a safe working environment
- The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines effectively, recommend personnel actions such as promotions or disciplinary measures when necessary, and resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and efficiency
- The candidates should be able to supervise workers and projects to ensure quality and timely completion, train or arrange for training to develop the skills of the workforce, and engage in project management activities to oversee various aspects of the project
- The candidates should be able to plan and control budgets and inventory to manage resources efficiently, oversee the safety of operations to prevent accidents and injuries, and monitor and inspect work to maintain quality standards and compliance with specifications
- The candidates should be able to inspect subcontractors’ work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications, conduct quality control measures to uphold project standards, and supervise construction site activities, schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records, and prepare reports to ensure project success and compliance
