Salary: $29.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Various locations and Relocation costs covered by employer
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Construction specialization: Residential
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of efficiently handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should have the physical endurance for tasks that are physically demanding
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances
- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should be a team player, fostering collaboration within the team
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, mix, pour, and spread materials, and assist in demolishing buildings
- The candidates should clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and erect and dismantle scaffolds and other platforms
- The candidates should cut materials using power tools or by hand, clean and maintain the workspace, and fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
