Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Construction specialization: Residential

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors if necessary
  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks efficiently
  • The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and capable of meeting tight deadlines efficiently
  • The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required by the job

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances, tasks, and responsibilities
  • The candidates should exhibit reliability in fulfilling their duties, commitments, and obligations
  • The candidates should be effective team players, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues towards shared goals and objectives

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades according to safety standards, prioritizing the safety of all personnel on the construction site
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials accurately and efficiently, adhering to specifications and quality standards
  • The candidates should be able to assist heavy equipment operators as needed during construction activities, facilitating the smooth progress of the project
  • The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs following established procedures, contributing to the structural integrity of the construction
  • The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction to ensure smooth operation and efficiency, maintaining equipment functionality and productivity on the job site
