Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on client needs and exhibit dependability in their tasks
- The candidates should show flexibility in their approach to work and take initiative in their responsibilities, as well as be organized in their tasks
- The candidates should be reliable in their commitments and function effectively as team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations
