Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, and plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- The candidates should also be able to clean the kitchen and work areas and manage kitchen operations
