Royal Spice brings tradition and flavours of India to Tecumseh, Windsor with its cooking methods and provides casual dining experience with a modern ambience and innovative ideas. With 20 year of experience in finest restaurants of Spain and Canada, head chef Harwinder Singh and his team provides 5 star taste and experience that nobody can forget. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: The Candidates should have 7 months to less than 1 year experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker.
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail.
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods.
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable, flexible, and be able to work as a team player.
- The candidate should have excellent oral communication and efficient interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables, carrying and replace linen,
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- The candidates should be able to load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
- The candidates should be able to place dishes in storage area
- The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- The candidates should be able to wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
- The candidates should be able to scour pots and pans,
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used.
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food, portion and wrap foods
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat and finish simple food items,
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars, receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers’ orders
- The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
- The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash
- The candidates should be able to sharpen kitchen knives
