Work setting: Remote location, Rural area, Relocation costs not covered by employer, and Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, Deep fryer, Electronic cash register, Food dispensers, and Grill
Credentials: First Aid Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and experienced in performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure, handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should exhibit reliability and be a team player
- The candidates should have the ability to multitask and show initiative
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability and maintain a positive attitude
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, and carry and replace linen
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place dishes in storage areas
- The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and scour pots and pans
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and stock refrigerators and salad bars
- The candidates should be able to take customers’ orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and clean and sanitize the kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and remove kitchen garbage and trash
- The candidates should be able to sharpen kitchen knives, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
