Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be attentive to detail and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized, a team player, and have good punctuality
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch, keep a record of items received and delivered, and sort packages for delivery
- The candidates should be able to follow directions and read maps effectively
