Salary: $20.84 hourly for 25 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Kamloops, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening
Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex, office building, and various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Cleaning
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable and show initiative in their work
- The candidates should be organized and reliable in performing their duties
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
- The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
