Work setting: Rural area, Remote location, Willing to relocate, and Dairy
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Dairy cattle
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in noisy environments, as well as tolerant of odors
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions and hot temperatures, and be familiar with working around livestock
- The candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and prepared for repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and physically fit for demanding tasks, possessing a keen attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with walking as part of their duties and able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible in their approach to tasks and demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, while also being team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with calving, handle animals safely and effectively, and assist with the weaning process
- The candidates should be able to groom farm animals, feed and tend to animals, and milk cows
- The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures, ensuring their diligent follow-up
