Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Dairy cattle
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in dusty environments, tolerant of various odors
- The candidates should have experience in dairy-related tasks
- The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and excel at working under pressure, demonstrating strong attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills and maintain organization in their work, being effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle animals and monitor animal health, formulate a feeding program, and maintain livestock performance records
- The candidates should be able to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems, supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs, and perform general farm duties
