Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics
Experience: Candidates should have experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should have the ability to lift or move 50 lb (23 kg) of equipment and exert themselves physically over extended periods, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling, and lifting
- The candidate should have the ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays, and shift-based schedules
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have experience with hardware and operating systems Linux and networking protocols
- The candidate should have 4 years of experience in the maintenance and monitoring of server systems
- The candidate should have experience working within a data center or network operation center environment
- The candidate should have experience in project management and leadership, experience collaborating and partnering with teams to overcome challenges
- The candidate should have the ability to communicate fluently in English to support client relationship management in this region
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across multiple teams
- The candidate should be able to report issues and follow data center procedures to troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment or infrastructure problems, applying the necessary resources for resolution
- The candidate should be able to maintain data security and integrity, including tracking media to identify and address non-standard security issues in line with Google security standards
- The candidate should be able to disassemble equipment at end-of-life through part replacement or maintenance activities
- The candidate should be able to repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, or infrastructure independently by evaluating multiple solution options
