Salary: $19.00 to $26.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Work setting: Child care centre
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), child development supervisor (ECE level 3), child development worker (ECE level 2), and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and child welfare check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and able to handle physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
