Little Tykes Learning Centre based in Moncton, NB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Daycare worker. Little Tykes Learning Centre provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, offering high-quality childcare services for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. We offer a play-based learning curriculum that is designed to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development, with a focus on fostering social skills and self-confidence. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $14.95 hourly 40 hours per week

Location: 120 Lorne Street Moncton, NB E1C 0J3
Shifts
: Day
Work setting: Child care centre, Before and after school programs
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Vulnerable sector check

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be punctual, dependable, reliable, and be able to work as a team player
  • The candidate should have values and ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
  • The candidates should be able to support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
  • The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
  • The candidates should be able to provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
