Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should be able to lead activities, such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties, including preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors. They should also submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
- The candidates should have knowledge of licensing regulations and attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children
