Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and capable of managing a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed, ensuring they can manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their work and exhibit excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and maintain daycare equipment while assisting in housekeeping and cooking duties
- The candidates should be able to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
