Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assess children’s development and prepare tailored learning plans, assist in housekeeping and cooking duties, bathe, diaper, feed infants and toddlers, and develop child-care programs
  • The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment, engage in storytelling, supervise staff, trainees, volunteers, synthesize children’s situations, and communicate with parents
  • The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs, lead activities, assist with record-keeping, encourage creativity, guide proper habits, prepare snacks, arrange rooms, observe for problems, and discuss progress at staff meetings
  • The candidates should be able to submit written observations, establish behavior guidelines, maintain collaborative relationships, and supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
