Herbert Fisheries based in Killarney, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Deckhand, fishing vessel. Herbert Fisheries is involved in the catching, processing, packaging, and distribution of various types of seafood, such as fish, shellfish, and crustaceans. We have focus on sustainable fishing practices and environmental responsibility, ensuring that our products are sourced and produced in a way that minimizes their impact on the environment. Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 to 60 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate fishing gear to catch fish and other marine life
- The candidates should be able to clean, sort and pack fish in ice and stow catch in hold
