Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to rotate stock and check for expired products regularly and assist front-end associates with price checks
• The candidates should be able to ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced according to standards and zone the department effectively
• The candidates should be able to adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• The candidates should be able to take orders for Deli Department merchandise, slice and prepare items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken, and provide requested assistance
• The candidates should be able to prepare deli food orders, including using slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers, and filling prepared salads and side dishes for display
• The candidates should be able to maintain the area neat, clean, and organized (N.C.O.), ensuring it is free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
