Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer and Courier company

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset Language: Wolof
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 year to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, Cellular phone and Uniform
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working with motor vehicles and willing to work outdoors
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and demonstrate a strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to handle loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, demonstrating professionalism in customer service
  • The candidates should be able to assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, prepare, package, and restock goods, and load and unload goods
  • The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids, record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, sort packages, and follow directions and read maps
  • The candidates should be able to accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies
