Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and have familiarity with motor vehicles
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be capable of meeting tight deadlines, even while working effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) efficiently
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service and keep a record of items received and delivered
- The candidates should be able to prepare, package, and restock goods, accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, and load and unload goods
- The candidates should be able to follow directions and read maps, use maps and other trip planning aids, and record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
