Salary: $19.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 939 Kingsway Ave SE Medicine Hat, AB T1A 2X6
Shifts: Day, 08:30 to 17:00
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, valid driver’s licence, and travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre
Supervision: Delivery drivers
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software, MS Outlook
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be attentive to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling, and capable of handling weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be equipped with efficient interpersonal skills and be organized in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and be team players, fostering collaboration and cooperation
- The candidates should be accurate in their work and demonstrate dependability in their performance
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, demonstrating professionalism in customer service
- The candidates should be able to assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, prepare, package, and restock goods, and load and unload goods
- The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids, record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, and unpack goods received
- The candidates should be able to record shortages and reject damaged goods, prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents, and pack goods to be shipped
- The candidates should be able to inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
