Canadian Diabetes Association is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by diabetes and promoting awareness and prevention of the disease. Specializing in advocacy, education, and research initiatives, the association provides resources, programs, and services to help Canadians living with diabetes manage their condition effectively and improve their quality of life. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Bondable, and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing tasks and responsibilities, and be capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads, and be willing to work overtime as required by job demands, able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as necessary for their duties

- The candidates should prioritize client focus, ensuring the satisfaction of client needs, and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, adapting to changing circumstances and tasks as necessary, and demonstrate strong organizational skills, effectively managing tasks and schedules
- The candidates should be reliable and dependable, consistently fulfilling their duties and commitments, and be cooperative and effective team players, collaborating well with others
- The candidates should demonstrate initiative in taking proactive steps to address challenges and pursue opportunities, and show punctuality in meeting deadlines and appointments
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, demonstrate professionalism in customer service, and receive and relay information to central dispatch
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, follow directions, and read maps, as well as use maps and other trip planning aids
- The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
