Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be capable of lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to work
- The candidates should be reliable in meeting job requirements
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidates should be able to prepare, package, and restock goods
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods
- The candidates should record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
- The candidates should pay and receive payments for goods
- The candidates should perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
