Salary: $19.00 hourly for 25 to 30 hours per week

Location: 1744 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 1M1
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer and Valid driver’s license

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be willing to work overtime
  • The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused and organized
  • The candidates should showcase reliability, accuracy in their work, and exhibit dependability
  • The candidates should also demonstrate punctuality

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
  • The candidates should exhibit professionalism in customer service
  • The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • The candidates should be able to prepare, package, and restock goods
  • The candidates should be able to load and unload goods
  • The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids
  • The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
  • The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
