No of Vacancies: 4
Salary: $16.55 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Mount Hope, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call
Transportation information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence, and Drive manual transmission vehicle
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Equipment and machinery experience: Carpet cleaning machine, Chemical cleaning equipment, Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Polishing machines, Power tools, Pressure cleaners, Pressure washers, Steam cleaners, and Waxing machine
Cleaning experience: Carpets/rugs, Paint and graffiti removal, Upholstery, Window coverings, Automobiles and trucks, Freight cars, and Windows
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, and Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and in wet or damp conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and be prepared to work in dirty conditions
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding job and capable of handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and able to perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit dependability, reliability, and prioritize punctuality in their work attendance
The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities, and be team players capable of collaborating effectively with others
The candidates should display flexibility and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate cleaning machines and clean ducts, vents, and filters of furnaces
- The candidates should be able to clean building exteriors, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment, as well as the interior and exterior of motor vehicles
- The candidates should be able to wash and clean interior and exterior windows and other glass surfaces, vacuum floors, wax and polish floors, and shampoo upholstery while providing customer service
