Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of four years of experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess knowledge of communications, public relations, marketing, and social media processes
- The candidates should have a strong understanding of individual, corporate, and foundation fundraising principles, the changing philanthropic climate, and various charitable giving techniques
- The candidates should be familiar with the university’s strategic priorities, policies, and procedures, along with faculty or departmental structures and broader university divisions
- The candidates should demonstrate proficiency with office productivity software, databases, search engines, enterprise and discipline-specific software, and technology devices
- The candidates should understand cultural competency and diversity in a business context
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and execute planned giving outreach initiatives to engage potential donors and promote philanthropic support for university programs
- The candidates should be able to establish and nurture long-term relationships with prospective and existing donors, fostering trust and commitment to planned giving opportunities
- The candidates should be able to identify, cultivate, and solicit donors for planned gifts, ensuring alignment with university priorities and donor interests
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with internal stakeholders to create tailored giving strategies that resonate with donor motivations and objectives
- The candidates should be able to oversee donor stewardship, ensuring timely recognition and updates on the impact of their contributions
- The candidates should be able to coordinate with legal, financial, and estate planning professionals to facilitate seamless planned giving transactions
- The candidates should be able to maintain accurate records of donor interactions and planned giving agreements within the university’s fundraising database
- The candidates should be able to contribute to achieving fundraising goals by securing planned gifts that provide long-term support for university services and initiatives
