Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: The candidates should currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or Natural Sciences
Experience: The candidates should have experience in one area of computer science (e.g., Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Quantum Information Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, etc.)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should currently be enrolled in a full-time degree program and intend to return to the program after completion of the internship
  • The candidates should currently be attending a degree program in Canada
  • The candidates should have experience as a researcher, which could include internships, full-time positions, or work in a laboratory
  • The candidates should also have experience contributing to research communities or efforts, including publishing papers in conferences or journals
  • The candidates should possess experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, MATLAB, Go, Python, etc.)
  • The candidates should have the ability to speak and write fluently in English

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to participate in research to develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems
