  • The candidates should be able to ensure relevant and timely internal communications and information flow locally and globally with colleagues
  • The candidates should be able to lead and empower the Government Affairs and Public Policy team in Canada
  • The candidates should be able to build a network of trade associations, industry partners, non-profit groups, and others to support policies that will help create and maintain a user-focused online environment and an open Internet
  • The candidates should be able to develop and lead public policy campaigns across the full range of policy areas that impact Google and the web
  • The candidates should be able to represent Google externally at all levels of policy-making and government in Canada
