Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables efficiently and neatly, ensuring readiness for meal service
- The candidates should be able to carry and replace linen as needed, maintaining a clean and presentable appearance in dining areas
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units thoroughly, ensuring hygiene standards are met
- The candidates should be able to load buspans and trays with used items, clearing tables efficiently to prepare for the next diners
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- The candidates should be able to place dishes in storage areas neatly and orderly, ensuring easy access and organization
- The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand as needed, maintaining cleanliness standards
- The candidates should be able to scour pots and pans thoroughly to remove food residue and maintain cleanliness
- The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs accurately and efficiently, ensuring food preparation tasks are completed as required
- The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products safely and appropriately, following proper procedures
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas neatly and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash promptly, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors thoroughly, ensuring cleanliness and safety
- The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit accurately and efficiently, preparing ingredients for food preparation
