Our hotel is situated on four acres of parkland on the shores of Lake Thomas. We have many years of experience in hotel industry and are well-known in the community. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree a certificate or a diploma, Full time enrollment
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment
- The candidate should be physically strong
- The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be someone who can be relied on
- The candidate should be a team player
- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like conventional oven, deep fryer and grill
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, scour pots and pans and also clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- The candidate should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, place dishes in storage area and also sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- The candidate should be able to handle and store cleaning products and also receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- The candidate should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and also wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
