The Quarterdeck Resort based in Port Mouton, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Dishwasher. The Quarterdeck Resort is a full-service which strives to offer an array of on-site amenities that will make our customers travel experience more enjoyable. Our hotel has everything to meet the needs of people including an on-site restaurant, lounge, bar, room service, meeting space, and more. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.00 to $15.50 hourly (to be negotiated) 10 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be reliable and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, place dishes in storage area
- The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, scour pots and pans, lean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, handle and store cleaning products
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
