Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environment areas, ensuring all aspects of their role are executed in a safe manner
- The candidates should be able to receive and enter orders over the phone, email, and in-house application, engaging customers to ensure all details are accurate and complete, and perform required adjustments to orders to facilitate seamless execution of delivery and invoicing
- The candidates should be able to work with the sales team to coordinate customer needs and concerns, serving as a point of contact for the sales team regarding issues, escalations, pricing, and other matters as they arise
- The candidates should be able to promote and take orders for specialized products that require additional processes to be followed, identifying customer requirements, and offering supplementary products
- The candidates should be able to assess fleet and plant capabilities and coordinate the truck fleet to ensure on-time delivery of material, scheduling drivers on a daily basis to maximize service and minimize costs, managing drivers, and monitoring efficiencies throughout the day
- The candidates should be able to proactively communicate with customers, sales, QC, and operations to identify any issues and ensure timely resolution of conflicts, as well as document any and all issues regarding active orders
