Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years industry experience in credit card customer service and the MasterCard Chargeback process

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies/systems
  • The candidates should possess strong influencing skills
  • The candidates should be effective multitaskers who can work autonomously
  • The candidates should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals across the organization and the outsourcer
  • The candidates should demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The candidates should have a working knowledge of TSYS and TS2 (preferred)
  • The candidates should be bilingual (French/English), which is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to be responsible for a wide range of duties related to the disputes investigation process, including determining chargeback eligibility and building memorable customer experiences with Rogers Bank clients
  • The candidates should be able to review, research, and initiate the resolution of dispute inquiries from cardholders and internal departments in compliance with the bank’s SOP
  • The candidates should be able to be responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple dispute cases throughout the chargeback lifecycle up to and including arbitration
  • The candidates should be able to perform analysis and research to determine chargeback eligibility based on Mastercard guidelines
  • The candidates should be able to own escalations on complex inquiries related to credit card disputes, supporting stakeholders from a variety of internal and external parties including Customers, Finance, Fraud, and Complaints
  • The candidates should be able to perform analysis and research of card-related data in addition to reporting on Disputes trends and losses
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with management to analyze and identify dispute trends, gaps, and implement controls to improve compliance, Bank, and customer outcomes
  • The candidates should be able to support the Finance team with clearing and settlement of unmatched Disputes entries
  • The candidates should be able to identify opportunities for policy, procedure, and process improvements within Disputes Chargeback operations and champion those opportunities from idea to implementation
  • The candidates should be able to ensure department management is kept informed of any issues or development that could impact the overall risk of the program being supported
  • The candidates should be able to support the creation of monthly business reports for Disputes
  • The candidates should be able to maintain reporting of KPIs for Disputes
  • The candidates should be able to conduct QA and oversight of outsourced agents
  • The candidates should be able to occasionally support other Back Office functions at the Bank
  • The candidates should be able to perform other duties as assigned
