Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and Child Abuse Registry check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking individuals
- The candidates should be able to work independently and under pressure, and they should be capable of performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and have a strong attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as handling a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be comfortable sitting for extended periods and standing for extended periods, as well as walking as part of their duties
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries
- The candidates should be able to stock the linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris, empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings
