Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Family
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should also be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required for the role
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, reliability, and honesty
- The candidates should exhibit initiative and exercise good judgment in their roles
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and clean changing rooms and showers
- The candidates should also be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals and assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
