Salary: $20.50 hourly for 15 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time
Location: Timmins, ON
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Driver’s abstract and Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Driver’s License
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Medical exam

  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility, adapting to changing circumstances and tasks as required
  • The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making and problem-solving situations
  • The candidates should be organized in their work, maintaining order and structure in tasks and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures
  • The candidates should be able to complete logbooks and reports
  • The candidates should be able to communicate with passengers, dispatchers, or other drivers using two-way radio systems
  • The candidates should be able to ensure children’s safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing streets while the bus is stopped
  • The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
