The candidates have to work in Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning and Morning shifts. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need secondary (high) school graduation certificate education qualification
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.

Driver’s License (Class 1 or A), Air Brakes Endorsement

Documentation Knowledge:

Accident or incident reports, Trip reports, Trans-border documentation, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Dangerous goods occurrence reports, Driver logbook, Bill of lading

Communication Systems Experience:

Communication systems experience such as Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, Trip recorder (on-board computer) and, Citizens band (CB) radio is required

Driving record check (abstract)

  • The candidate should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • The candidate should be able to tarping and ensure the safety and security of cargo
  • The candidate should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • The candidate should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • The candidate should be able to obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • The candidate should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • The candidate should be able to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
