Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Hard hat, Mask, Safety glasses/goggles and Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty and noisy environments as required by the job, proficient in activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their regular duties, and handle heavy loads as part of their job requirements
- The candidates should be prepared for a large workload, efficiently managing tasks and responsibilities, and demonstrate manual dexterity in performing tasks that require precision and coordination
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting the demands of a physically demanding role, prepared for repetitive tasks that are inherent to the job, and able to stand for extended periods as necessary for the role
- The candidates should be capable of working under tight deadlines and delivering results within specified time frames, comfortable with walking as part of their job requirements, and have the physical strength to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required by the job

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply successive coats of compound, level and smooth plaster, and fill joints and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
- The candidates should be able to clean, prepare surfaces, and smooth out excess compound, allowing the coat to dry
- The candidates should be able to fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids, place panels for acoustical and coffered ceilings, and tape over joints using a taping machine, embedding tape in the compound
- The candidates should be able to cure freshly plastered surfaces, measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, and install vapor barriers and thermal and sound insulation
- The candidates should be able to mold and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim, as well as spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists and work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages
- The candidates should be able to mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
- The candidates should be able to finish corners and angles, create decorative designs in the finish coat if required, and trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
- The candidates should be able to cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets, and prepare wall and ceiling layouts
- The candidates should be able to utilize a laser alignment system and install corner beads and wire mesh around beams for plaster application
