Salary: $15.00 to $28.86 hourly (To be negotiated) 32 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Before and after school programs, Child care centre
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as 0ther trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), Child development supervisor (ECE level 3), Child development worker (ECE level 2), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Vulnerable sector check
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have ability to multitask, values and ethics, interpersonal awareness, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, engage in storytelling, and provide opportunities for children to express creativity
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, lead activities, and assist early childhood educators in keeping records
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper habits, assess abilities and needs, and establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
