Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Security and safety:Â Basic security clearance

- The candidates should have strong values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children and assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
- The candidates should be able to encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
- The candidates should be able to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
