Kidorable Child Care based in London, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Early childhood educator (E.C.E.). Kidorable Child Care is established to provide a quality educational program that strives for compliance with Ministry of education policies, pedagogy and curriculum for children from 0 months to 12 years. We emphasize the foundations of belonging, well-being, engagement and expression in children where the goals and expectations integrate the six guiding principles of ELECT (Early Learning for Every Child Today). We require ongoing training for our staff through professional development, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $21.00 to $24.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: 1697 Trafalgar St., London, ON, N5W 1X2
Shifts: Day, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Child care centre and before and after school programs
Security and safety: Criminal record should checked, Immunization records required and vulnerable sector should checked
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment
- The candidate should be punctual, dependable, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have an excellent oral and written communication and also values and ethics
- The candidate should be able to supervise 5-10 people and also take care of infants (3 months – 11 months)
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
