Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, medical exam, immunization records, and tuberculosis test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks while demonstrating attention to detail
- The candidates should be capable of performing a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, exercising good judgment and reliability
- The candidates should display flexibility and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, as well as assist early childhood educators in carrying out such programs
- The candidates should be able to lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest, encouraging their creativity through various means
- The candidates should be able to assist in maintaining daycare equipment, housekeeping, and cooking duties, while also guiding children in proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should be knowledgeable about the Day Nurseries Act and licensing regulations, establishing behavior guidelines and observing children for signs of potential issues
- The candidates should be able to assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs, discussing progress or problems with parents and staff, and attending meetings to address such matters
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children
