Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Child development assistant (ECE level 1) and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children and assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
• The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
• The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
