Salary: $18.55 hourly 1 to 40 hours per week

Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Experience with special needs children: Children with an intellectual disability, children with behavioural issues, children with allergies, children with asthma, and children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD)
Credentials: Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Immunization records, Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be non-smokers and able to work in air-conditioned environments, capable of handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be physically demanding, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed, while possessing manual dexterity skills
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual and reliable, demonstrating efficient interpersonal skills and excelling in oral communication
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach, possess interpersonal awareness, and uphold values and ethics
- The candidates should have sound judgment and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs promoting children’s development, and maintain daycare equipment while assisting in housekeeping and cooking duties
- The candidates should be able to lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and local outings, encourage children’s creativity through art, play, and music, and prepare snacks while arranging rooms for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should be able to observe children for learning or behavioral issues, establish behavior guidelines, and assess children’s abilities and needs, discussing progress with parents and staff, and maintain a safe environment while supervising and coordinating activities of other educators and assistants
