Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assess the children’s development to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs, assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, and submit written observations on children
• The candidates should be able to establish guidelines for behavior, attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children, and plan and maintain an environment that protects their health, security, and well-being
• The candidates should be able to plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
