Salary: $28.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning
Work Setting: Various locations, Commercial, Residential
Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated, Dusty, Hot
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: The candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be physically demanding and maintain tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to install, replace and repair electrical controls, install surface mount and/or overhead cables and panel boxes, test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits.
- The candidate should troubleshoot and isolate faults and connect power to audio and visual equipment, also read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
- The candidate should be able to renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures, conduct preventive maintenance programs.
