Salary: $1,$120 bi-weekly for 35 hours per week

Location: 411 – 19 Street SE Calgary, AB T2E 6J7
Shifts: Day, 08:30 to 16:30
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Packaging company, Warehouse, and Pharmaceuticals industry
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Pharmaceuticals and medicines
Manufacturing sector experience: Food
Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be tolerant of odors and able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling repetitive tasks, and prepared for physically demanding work
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity, demonstrate attention to detail, and have hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual and demonstrate dependability, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and exhibit initiative, demonstrate reliability, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment, check and weigh materials and products, and sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
- The candidates should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers, perform other laboring and elemental activities, and clean machines and immediate work areas
