Salary: $48,500 annually 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract (ending: 2026-06-30) Full time
Location: Terrace, BC
Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 16:00
Work setting: Private school
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Teacher training or certification
Credentials: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assign and correct homework, develop course content, and evaluate student progress while discussing results with relevant parties
- The candidates must identify individual learning needs, lead students in activities promoting their holistic development, and actively participate in professional development opportunities
- The candidates should prepare and implement remedial programs, design subject material aligned with the curriculum, and administer tests using various instructional methods
- The candidates should provide spiritual and moral guidance to members of a religious faith, integrating these aspects into their teaching practice to foster a well-rounded education
