Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 271, rue Industrielle, Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan, QC J0K 3H0
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, 07:00 to 15:30
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools, Small hand tool, Pneumatic devices, Precision measuring instrument
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area and dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible, reliable, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assemble wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders and barrels
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings
- The candidates should be able to install hardware such as knobs and hinges
- The candidates should be able to inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards
- The candidates should be able to mark defective parts or products for repair
- The candidates should be able to make minor adjustments and repair
