Salary: $21.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Burlington, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Shift, Morning
Work setting: Factory or plant, and Industrial facility or establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and handle heavy loads and tasks that are physically demanding
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability and reliability
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and organization
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, and perform safety and security checks
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, contact tradespersons for major repairs, and perform minor repairs on appliances
- The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and work with minimal supervision
